Apple Vision Pro: Try It Out at the Myeongdong Apple Store!

Apple Vision Pro Experience: Encountering the Future at the Myeongdong Apple Store

How to Apply for an Apple Vision Pro Demo Experience

A few days ago, I visited the Myeongdong Apple Store to experience the Apple Vision Pro firsthand. Although it's been out for a while, demo experiences have been available in Korea since last December. You can easily apply for a demo reservation on the official Apple website, and you can go straight to the reservation page using the link below: Apply for an Apple Vision Pro Demo Experience

If you visit at your reserved time, the process of checking in with a QR code is smooth, and the sophisticated atmosphere of the store enhanced the anticipation of the experience. Thanks to Apple's unique minimalist yet sophisticated interior and the kind guidance from the staff, it was a pleasant experience from the beginning.

The Demo Process and First Impression

The demo lasted for about an hour, and it began with the step of fitting the device to my face and head. Since a comfortable fit is essential for enhancing immersion, I realized that this process was more important than I thought. In particular, the fact that it could be adjusted according to face shape or head size, allowing anyone to wear it comfortably, was impressive. Afterward, I received a brief explanation about a new operating system called VisionOS, which was really amazing. It uses your eyes to select menus and your fingers to click, and it was so intuitive that even a first-time user could quickly adapt.

VisionOS offered a completely different experience from traditional touchscreen or mouse-based interfaces. The fact that all tasks can be performed only with eye and hand movements offered a glimpse into the possibilities of future technology. In particular, navigating menus and running apps was very smooth and natural, making it seem like anyone could easily use it without any technical barriers.

Experiencing Photos and Video Content

I watched photos and videos on my iPhone with the Vision Pro, which was truly amazing. Especially with the spatial photos and videos, it felt like I had gone back to that very moment. I also experienced special video content provided by Apple, and watching nature documentaries or sporting events in 8K quality was an experience of a completely different dimension. The clarity and immersion of the screen was incomparable to conventional displays.

In particular, the spatial photos were not just flat images, but I could feel the three-dimensionality as if I were standing in that location. If you watch family photos or travel videos like this, it seems that you could revisit truly special memories. Apple's emphasis on "immersive experience" was right on the mark.

Potential for a Virtual Work Environment

I tried out a virtual work environment by linking my MacBook and the Vision Pro, and I thought this was really perfect for work. You can display several virtual displays and work in them, and it was efficient because you can display as many windows as you want without space constraints. It gave me the impression that it would shine even brighter in a work environment than for entertainment purposes.

In particular, it seemed like it would be an innovative tool for those in occupations that require multitasking, such as design work or data analysis. For example, you can check emails on one screen while preparing presentation materials on another, managing the workflow at a glance. The ability to freely arrange the screens, which was impossible in a conventional monitor environment, seemed like it could greatly improve productivity.

Disappointments and Price Burden

However, there were some disappointing aspects. Although the speaker quality wasn't bad, the fact that it couldn't be linked to an external audio device like a HomePod was a bit disappointing (I'm not sure if it's actually impossible, but that's what the staff told me. It seems that it should be possible because the connectivity between Apple devices is great, so please test it if you have the device). I felt like more powerful sound was needed when watching immersive content. Especially if you like enjoying music or watching movies, this part might feel a little disappointing.

And the price... honestly, it's too much for an individual to purchase. It's around 5 million KRW! Of course, I understand considering its technological prowess and innovation, but I thought that it's more suitable for businesses or professionals rather than general consumers. Still, I thought it would be great if my company bought one for work.

In Conclusion...

The Apple Vision Pro definitely provided an experience that was on a different level from existing VR/AR devices. I highly recommend experiencing it firsthand at the Myeongdong Apple Store! You will be able to feel the fun and possibilities that new technology offers. You can easily make a reservation here , so those who are interested should definitely try it out!

If you want to experience the speed of technological advancements firsthand, apply for a demo now! A new dimension of experience awaits you.
